PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure humidity of skin, by pressing onto the skin a high-frequency voltage-impressed cylinder-type coaxial detecting electrode and measuring variation of tuning voltage. CONSTITUTION:A detecting electrode, consisting of an inner electrode 1 and an outer electrode 2, is connected to an intermediate tap 10 of a coil 9. A tuning circuit is composed of the coil 9 and a tuning variable condenser 11, and a high frequency voltage is impressed onto this circuit by an oscillator 5. A pickup coil 14 and the coil 9 are provided on the same magnetic core and connected to a voltmeter 16. In this mechanism, the variable condenser 11 is adjusted to seek the tuning point where oscillation of the voltmeter 16 becomes the maximum. When the detecting electrode is connected to the intermediate tap 10, the index of the voltmeter 16 changes in accordance with variation of skin resistance. If relation between the tuning voltage and the skin resistance is measured in advance, it is possible to tell humidity of the skin by variation of the voltage. |
