PURPOSE:To enable a ventilating filter to be suited for continuously stirring and filtering a test solution, particularly for preparing test sample for fluorescent X-ray analysis, by providing a ventilating and stirring layer in the upside of a ventilating filter and also an air chamber pressure-regulating device through an air chamber and a through hole leading to the air chamber on the lower side of the filter. CONSTITUTION:A ventilating filter 6 and a holding plate 5 are put between a cylinder 1 and a container 2, and a ventilating and filtering layer 7 is provided at the upside of the ventilating filter 6 and also an air chamber 8 is provided on the lower side. The air chamber 8 is connected through a through hole 3 to an air chamber pressure-regulating device which consists of a decompression device 10, a pressurizing device 11, a switching valve 12, a pressure indicating meter 13, etc. Compressed air is charged into the air chamber 8 by operating the pressurizing device 11 and a sample solution is injected into the ventilating and filtering layer 7, whereupon the compressed air goes up in bubbles in the sample solution, during which period the solution is stirred and sedimentation and adsorption reaction go on. After the lapse of a certain time, it is switched into the decompression device 10 by the switching valve 12 and the sample solution is filtered by suction. |
