PURPOSE:To ensure a control of the data based on the more accurate time band for an electronic register containing the time band based memory regions, by subtracting the returns data from the sales data when the returns data is supplied. CONSTITUTION:In case a customer wants to return of an article of 1,500 with its receipt (a), the operator sets the return mode. Then the time of the receipt issue is supplied with operation of the amount key, and then the TIME key is operated to print the time of sale on the receipt (b). After this, the amount key is operated to supply the amount data of the returned article, and then the department key 4 is operated to print the amount to be returned on the receipt (b). Then the cash/ deposit key is operated to subtract the returns data from the sales data stored in the time band based memory region corresponding to the input time data. Thus both the returns data and the present time are printed on the receipt (b). |
