PURPOSE:To get rid of a vortex ring of a spectacle lens of >=-0.00 deg., by polishing both the outside surface and the inside surfce of a lens, within the range of 90- 110 deg., in accordance with the number of degrees. CONSTITUTION:At first, an edge angle is prepared on the lens in order to make it fit into the groove of the frames A1(a-d), A2(b-c), and subsequently both the side surface (a)-(b) and the inside surface (c)-(d) are polished. As for the angle alpha of said side surface (a)-(b) and inside surface (c)-(d) against the surfce of the lens, in case of a weak degree lens, they are polished so as to become 90 deg., and in case of a strong degree lens, they are polished within the range of 90-120 deg., and furthermore the whole circumference is polished. |
