<p>The device secures a Bowden cable etc. in position, the cable having a spiral casing to be secured at the end and accommodating a sliding control wire. A clamping washer (19) with a spring portion is mounted on a protrusion (6) on the end (5), and engages in an external groove (16) formed between two turns (14) of the spiral casing (13). The latter can be arranged to fit in a recess (9) formed in the protrusion, its end face (18) bearing against a shoulder (10) in the recess, whose axis is parallel to and clear of that of the protrusion. The protrusion can be segmentary, with a flat (7) beyond which part of the casing protrudes.</p> |
