A device monitoring vehicle fuel consumption and range has a display showing instantaneous fuel consumption and other useful related information. It does not distract the attention of the driver from the road. The electrical output from a flow transducer measuring instantaneous fuel consumption passes to a pressing circuit with several outputs. One output shows when the instantaneous consumption lies within a given range. Each output of the processing circuit drives one of several displays, showing the various information. Two of the displays show when the instantaneous consumption lies below or above the given range. The indicators may be l.e.d.s of different colours. A min. fuel tank level sensor may also be used in conjunction with a corresp. indicator.
