Prefabricated building block assembly - has integrally cast seating pegs and contains vertical cavities for introduction of concrete

The construction is made up of rows of prefabricated building blocks which are stacked back to back in an offset manner without the use of mortar. The back of each block has at least one lateral projection (A) containing a vertical cavity which communicates with the cavities in the elements of the row below. Each block has on at least one of its upper or lower faces integrally cast pegs which act as seating points. The construction is completed by filling the cavities with concrete. Pref. the blocks also contain an elongate vertical cavity (D) filled with insulating material (E).
