<p>Mould-closing unit is for a plastic injection-moulding machine having a horizontal supporting beam for the movable mould bracket, supported at one end on the fixed mould bracket. Two guide shoes, adjustable for height, rest on rails on the machine base and engage with the movable mould bracket. Each shoe has two slide surfaces at right angles, and has a vertical centring flange, pressed by a screwed component against a centring face on the mould bracket (110). The component is a clearance fit where it passes through the flange. Whether greater or lesser axial preloading is exerted by the component, each shoe is adjustable in the vertical direction by a further component acting against it and screwing in a tapped hole in a horizontal leg of the mould bracket.</p> |
