<p>PURPOSE:To enable the switching of tape run smoothly and instantly, by compulsively stopping the coast run of capstan with the rack of the lever and detaching the rack from the gear with inverting operation. CONSTITUTION:With the reverse instruction of tape run, the operation of the plunger 28 stops, the turning lever 26 is turned clockwise with the spring 26, the pin 27 moves over the hole 24, and the holding of neutral position of the lever 18 is released. Thus, since the lever 18 turns clockwise from the slide member 23 with the coast run of the flywheel toward the arrow B, the rack 21 gears with the gear 15 and the lever 18 is moved down. But, the operation of the spring 22 compulsively stops the revolution of the capstan 5, the lever 18 is moved upward with the spring 22, and the capstan 5 starts running toward A and turns clockwise to the lever 18, and the rack 21 is detached from the gear 15. In this case, the capstan 5 quickly reaches constant speed after the start of revolution toward A of the lever 18 with the power application of the capstan motor.</p> |
