PURPOSE:To improve the cleaning efficiency by a megnetic brush by providing a fur brush roller planted with a fur brush spirally on the circumferential surface of a cylindrical member having light transmittance between a magnetic brush cleaning means and a transfer region. CONSTITUTION:A destaticizing lamp 127 is fixedly disposed in a fur brush roller 126 provided on the upper stream side of a magnetic brush cleaning means 122 along the rotating direction 5 of a photosensitive drum 4. The position of the one- component type magnetic toner remained on the photoreceptor 3 is shifted circumferentially by the fur brush roller 126 by rotating the fur brush roller 126 and therefore at the time when the light of the lamp 127 is irradiated to the photoreceptor 3 surface through the spiral light transmission parts 131, destaticizing is accomplished, and the cleaning by the magnetic brush cleaning means 122 on the lown stream side of the bur brush roller 126 is effiectively accomplished along the rotating direction of the drum 4.
