PURPOSE:To reduce the friction resistance and to increase the durability, by providing the overcoat layer impregnated with lubricant and consisting of mixed resin with specific % of vinylalkylether on the disc opposing planes of monolithic magnetic head for magnetic disc. CONSTITUTION:On the opposing planes 5 of magnetic disc 1 of the monolithic magnetic head 2 for magnetic disc, the overcoat layer impregnating the lubricant such as perfluoro alkylpolyether with the mixed resin film 6 with thermosetting resin including 5% or more of polyvinylalkylether such as plyvinylmethylether is provided several hundreds Angstrom in thickness. Thus, in comparison with the absence of lubricant layer of the head surface as conventional ones, the damaged head and magnetic disc surface is less and the life can be made longer. |
