PURPOSE:To automatically correct the level variance produced in the process of recording and reproduction, by detecting the level of monitor signal from the reproducing signal and changing the gain amplifying the reproducing signal in response to the output level of the detector. CONSTITUTION:The reproducing signal from the reproducing head 8 is through the band reject filter 9 rejecting the monitor signal recorded on the tape T, amplified at the amplifier 10 possible for gain control and fed to a speaker 11. Further, the reproducing signal reproduced at the head 8 is detected via a BPF12 which passes through the monitor signal only, and the output of this detector 13 controls the gain of the amplifier 10. With such a constitution, according to the output level of the minitor signal, that is, if the output level of the monitor signal is decreased, the gain of the amplifier 10 is increased by the decrease. Thus, the level change produced in the process of recording and reproduction, can automatically be corrected. |
