PURPOSE:To reduce consumption of electricity by detecting the amount of movement of a measurer electrically by means of a contact-point detector and by making the detection signal thereof be of a level in accordance with the level of voltage of a count processing circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the measurer such as a micrometer spindle rotates, the shaft 32 of the contact-point type detector 20 rotates, and with this rotation a sliding contact point 34 contacts slidably with slit electrodes 30a and 30b. As the result, the detection signal having a waveform 300 shown in the figure is delivered from the detector 20, becoming a square wave which rises up to supply voltage when the sliding contact point 34 contacts with each of the slit electrodes 30a and 30b and falls down to earthing voltage when the contact point 34 is separated from the electrodes 30a and 30b. And, since the detector 20 and the count processing circuit 14 have the same earthing potential, the level of voltage of both components accords with each other. The otput of the detector 20 is supplied directly to the count processing circuit 14 with no need of amplification and conversion of level. |
