Disulfonic phenyl-azo-naphthyl-azo-phenyl alkoxy dyes for polyamides

New compounds having the structure: <IMAGE> (wherein R represents -H, alkyl, alkoxy or a halogen; R1 represents -H, alkyl, and R2 represents -H, alkyl or alkoxy) are useful as light fast orange dyes for polyamides and they are especially useful as dyes for differential-dyeing nylon carpeting and for wool.
