PURPOSE:To prepare a cosmetic having various excellent characteristics such as colorlessness, odorlessness, high affinity to the skin, high drug-dissolving capability, etc., by compounding an esterified product derived from a polyhydric alcohol, a >=8C fatty acid, and a >=12C dibasic acid, as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic having uniform quality is obtained by compounding, as an effective component, one or more product obtained by esterifying (A) a polyhydric alcohol (e.g. glycerine, trimethylolpropane, etc.), (B) one or more >=8C straight-chain, branched, unsaturated, or hydroxy-fatty acids (e.g. lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, etc.) and (C) more than 1/2mol, based on 1mol of the (A) component, of a >=12C straight- and/or branched-chain dibasic acid (e.g. dodecanoic diacid, tetradecanoic diacid, etc.). |
