<p>PURPOSE:To attach or detach a jig easily by providing a clamping device which attaches or detaches a jig onto or from a work for a pallet feeder type working station. CONSTITUTION:When weld-working a work 5 of a different shape on a next stage pallet 3 after the welding of a work 4 with a welding torch 18 is finished, claws 10 at the lower end of a piston 9a for pressing works are closed to release the engagement of the claws 10 with a clamping jig 8 during the welding of the work 4. Next, a pallet 2 is pushed out of a working station 1 with the clamping jig 8 on, the next stage pallet 3 is positioned right under the working station 1 with the clamping jig 7 on and the work 5 is welded keeping pressed by the piston 9a. At the same time, the claws 10 are opened to be engaged with the clamping jig 7 and this clamping jig 7 is used for the consecutive working of works of the same shape after this.</p> |
