PURPOSE:To prevent the adhesion of dusts onto the surface of an objective lens and to stabilize recording and reproducing over a long period by the composition moving the shutter by its rising and setting freely to cover an objective lens thereto. CONSTITUTION:At the time when an optical head 15 is located at the position A in a work state, a shutter 17 is energized in Y direction, an objective lens 16 is subjected to a light projection on the optical disk of on a turntable 12 via a hole 19 and information is recorded and reproduced. When the head 15 is moved to a rest position B, the shutter 17 pushed by a lever 25 is moved in X direction to cover the lens 16. When the optical head is not use, therefore, the adhesion of dusts is prevented by covering the objective lens and recording and reproducing are stabilized for long period. |
