MEASUREMENT FOR WEIGHT OF MOVING LIQUID

PURPOSE:To continuously measure the weight of a given volume of a liquid running through a channel in a quick manner by running a liquid passing through a flow pipe into a measurement pipe at almost constant full flow rate and measuring the weight of the measurement pipe through which a liquid flows. CONSTITUTION:A cement milk inside a hopper is conducted into a measurement pipe 14 through a flow pipe by driving a pump. The cement milk is caused to flow through the measurement pipe at almost constant full flow rate and then is caused to flow onto the side of an auger screw. As a result of the flow of a liquid into the measurement pipe, the weight of cement milk corresponding to the capacity of the measurement pipe 14 of the continuously running cement milk is continuously measured on weight scales 13, 13. After this process, the measured value is converted to an electric signal and then is transmitted to a specific gravity conversion circuit 17. Following this step, a specific gravity conversion takes place based on the capacity of the measurement pipe 14 and the converted value is indicated on an indicator 18.
