PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for data checking of a carry on a reception side by dividing timepiece information to two words; the 'month' and the 'date' as well as the 'hour' and the 'minute' and transmitting respective sets of data not by a binary coded decimal notation but by binary numbers. CONSTITUTION:The 'month' information 103 and the 'date' information 104 are corresponded to a word 1 and the 'hour' information 105 and the 'minute' information 106 are corresponded to a word 2 on a transmission side. Since the region of the data for for 3 digits of the binary coded decimal notation is assured in one word, two sets of the data can be displayed with one word. The timepiece information is, therefore, divided to two sets each of the words; the 'month' and the 'date' as well as the 'hour' and the 'minute' and all pieces of the timepiece information can be transmitted by the two words. The need for data checking of the carry on the timepiece information on the data reception side is thereby eliminated and the speed of the data processing is increased. |
