The L-shaped bracket (18) is welded to the vehicle chassis (20) and its horizontal wing has a hole shaped to take the six sided connector (14). The latter makes and secures the joint between the rigid brake pipe (16) leading to the reservoir and the flexible brake pipe (12) leading to the road wheel joint (10). The circular hole in the horizontal wing of the bracket has three evenly spaced rectangular indentations around the circumference. The joint between the circle and the indentation is cut with a central notch with shoulders to form a housing for the six sided connector.
