The pump for moving concrete or similar substances comprises two parallel pump cylinders (1) with pistons (3), a feed container (4) directly connectable to either cylinder, and an outlet line (9'). A distributor (8) is moved (via 8') to connect the line (9') to one cylinder outlet via a movable coupling ring (11) whilst the inlet to the other cylinder is connected to the container and vice versa. The corresponding contact surfaces of the ring and the cylinder port face are provided with a machinable and hardenable deposit in a sintered material consisting of approximately 50 vol % Ti-carbide in a steel matrix and having a hardness of HRC 70 after hardening.
