<p>A device for the axial adjustment of the cable of a cable operated window raising and lowering device, specially for motor vehicles, is housed inside a casing consisting of two plastic shells, preferably made of a polyacetal resin. The shells have on both sides of the crank-operated pinion semicylindrical lugs with holes in two of them. Plugs, made of polyamide, close these holes and are joined to the pipes carrying the operating cables by welding or bonding. This secures the pipes axially and torsionally without necessitating additional operations.</p> |
