<p>A brush holder is proposed provided with a device for the automatic lifting of worn brushes, in which the application of the brush 3 against the commutator 2, is effected by means of a single torsion spring 12, and a flexible pigtail 8 connects the brush to a terminal 6, (Fig. 3).
