PURPOSE:To enable the quantity of light of an exposure lamp to be set arbitrarily according to originals and improve the ease of operation by operators by performing the operation of a keyboard. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 11 is used commonly with ten keys for setting copying sheet number. When the predetermined number keys are selected by the ten keys, the data inputted by the ten keys 11 are supplied via a selection circuit 20 to a memory circuit 26, and are stored therein. On the other hand, an exposure lamp 32 is connected via a bidirectional thyristor 35 to an AC power source 34. A gate circuit 35 is connected to the gate of the thyristor 33. This gate circuit 35 controls the conduction angle of the thyristor 33 according to the data having been stored in said memory circuit 26. The voltage across the exposure lamp 32 is controlled and the exposure lamp 32 is controlled to the preset quantity of light. |
