PURPOSE:To obtain timepiece armoring part rich in variety of design, by joining armoring parts, made of age-hardening alloy of Cr, Al and Ni, with a prescribed low-fusion-point and high-corrosion-resistance brazing material. CONSTITUTION:Age-hardening alloy consisting of 30-60wt% Cr, 3-6wt% Al and Ni for the remainder is worked up as a raw material and armoring parts provided with hardness HV of 700-750, for example, by an age-hardening treatment are brazed at a temperature below an agehardening temperature by use of a brazing material of the composition mentioned below. The said brazing material consists of 50-80% Au, 3-14% Sn, 2-17% In, 1-10% Zn, 6-14% Cu, and Ag for the remainder and has a low fusion point and high corrosion resistance. |
