<p>A system for sealing door and window openings on a motor vehicle body includes a sealing strip mounted on the vehicle body around the opening with a hollow tubular seal (16) made of soft material which extends at least partially around the opening and onto which the door and window glass closes. A tube (22) has one of its ends in communication with the interior of the tubular seal (16) and the other end mounted at the front of the vehicle and open to the atmosphere so that the motion of the vehicle forces air into the tube (22) to increase the air pressure within the tubular seal (16) and improve the sealing function at higher vehicle speeds. <IMAGE></p> |
