PURPOSE:To prevent the leak of ink from an ink bottle by correcting a regulating piece to a standard position during the time when the rotation of roller is stopped. CONSTITUTION:When a stop signal STP is given from a decision part 104, AND gate 109-1 is formed and the output of the AND gate 109-1 is given as a direction indicating command signal M to the gate 110. By the signal M, AND gate 110-2 gives a pulse to a pulse amplifier 110-3 to turn a step motor 103 and also to move a regulating piece 102 toward -X. When the content of a present position reflector 106 becomes equal to the content of a standard position setter 105, the output CMP1 of the comparator 107 becomes 0, so that the AND gate 110-2 inhibits the passage of pulse from a pulse generator 111 and the rotation of the step motor 103 is stopped. At this time, the content of the present position reflector 106 is equal to that of the standard position setter 105.
