Silage block feeding equipment to animals - slews blocks into position parallel and close to manger grid

The equipment feeds rectangular blocks of fodder extracted from a flat silo to animals. It slews about a point (6) near the grid (7) of a manger, into a position where its long side is parallel to the grid. The distance of the slewing axis from the grid can be roughly equal to the thickness of a bale (3) and the equipment can be mounted in a gangway for a tractor etc. in which there may be several sets one behind the other. The equipment can be arranged to slew towards one or both sides. The design allows the entire feeding operation to be completely mechanised.
