发明名称 STERILIZATION OF FOOD
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To sterilize a food, e.g., perishable food, which can not be sterilized by heating by bringing the food into contact with ozone having permeated through a permeable film which is put between the food and ozone. CONSTITUTION:A food is packed with a synthetic film, e.g., polyethylene, polyproplylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride film, etc., having a thickness about 0.005- 0.04mm., and the food together with a fixed amount of ozone are sealed up in a vessel made of a nonpermeable material. Or the food may be allowed to stand in a closed chamber or vessel in an ozone atmosphere and brought into contact with ozone, or ozone is packed into a film, which together with a not packed food may be allowed to stand in a closed chamber or vessel. An amount of ozone is about 0.05-0.5mg/g food and the contact time is about 3hr to accomplish the purpose.</p>
