PURPOSE:To reduce the number of comparators to be required, by discriminating the amplitude of input analog signals and performing prescribed level shift to the reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:The points between the reference voltages VRT and VRB are set to 0.75V and the voltage of VRT is taken at 0V, then the voltage between 0--0.75V can be detected as the input signal Vin. When the input signal is less than -0.75V, the auxiliary comparator C' detects the voltage and the reference voltage is in level shift b 0.75V via a switching driver D. Thus, the reference voltage is between -0.75--1.5V, and it can be compared with the input signal Vin. The operation of the auxiliary comparator C' can correspond the input signal with 1.5V width by means of the converter of 0.75V width. |
