<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a master cylinder for an automobile clutch release system and facilitate the assembly of the cylinder, by integrally molding the cylinder body and a reservoir tank from synthetic resin of high strength. CONSTITUTION:The body 1 of a master cylinder is attached to a vehicle body by arms 1a so that the cylinder body 1 is secured. The cylinder body 1 and a reservoir tank 2 are integrally molded from fiberglass-containing 66 nylon. Since the transparency of the fiberglass-containing 66 nylon is very low, a portion 2a of the wall of the reservoir tank 2 is made so thin that the liquid level in the tank 2 can be seen by naked eyes.</p> |
