<p>A method and apparatus for assembling a track chain including pairs of cooperating, overlapping links (116, 134) pivotally interconnected by coacting, concentrically disposed pins and bushings (112, 114), the chain being free from damaged members, undesirable bending moments, and high residual loads, and further having controlled link end play.
