PURPOSE:To eliminate crumbling of TOFU and shorten the time required for packaging, by forming an opening port with a desired size of TOFU on the lower surface of a box cutter, connecting a pitching device to the box cutter, and arranging a closing valve on the upper part of the box cutter. CONSTITUTION:TOFU bases 5 which are arranged in a row on a No.1 belt 4 are supplied to a prescribed position. A cutter platform 19 descends, a No.1 box cutter 10a descends at the same time, and a TOFU base 5 is cut. Air is supplied from an air exhaust port 23e of a closing valve 23, and a valve part 23c descends to shut out airholes 23a and 23b, and thus the inside of the No.1 box cutter 10a is closed. As soon as the No.1 box cutter 10a ascends and leaves the TOFU base 5, a No.3 cylinder 26a of a pitching device 22 starts functioning, the No.1 box cutter 10a travels to the above of an empty pack 8 on a No.2 conveyor 6. The cutter platform 19 descends for a prescribed distance, the No.1 box cutter 10a stops with its tip placed in the empty pack 8, an air circuit functions to exhaust air from the air exhaust port 23e of the closing valve 23, and a TOFU 5a drops in the empty pack 8 along the slant surface. |
