The vibration grinding mill, in particular for comminuting stone, has a vertical housing (1) which is elastically mounted by means of feet (2). In its interior there is a cylindrical sieve (11) which extends over the entire length of the housing and is at a distance from the housing wall. In the housing (1) on a shaft (8) which is provided with eccentrics (9, 10) and is driven by two motors (4, 5) via cardan shaft couplings (6, 7) there are grinding bodies which are preferably elongated and, at the high speed of revolution of the housing (1), comminute the material for grinding between themselves and the sieve (11).
