PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber composition having improved cut-resistance and chipping resistance, by compounding a rubber with a specific amount of a specific cyclopentadiene polymer produced by reacting an OH-containing cyclopentadiene polymer with 5-alkylidenenorbornene-2 and modifying the product with polyisocyanate, etc. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of a rubber is compounded with 1-30pts.wt. of a polymer produced by reacting (A) an OH-containing cyclopentadiene polymer produced by the thermal copolymerization reaction of (A1) 100pts.wt. of one or more compounds selected from the compound of formula (R is 1-3C alkyl; m is 0-6) having cyclopentadiene ring and its Diels-Alder addition product, (A2) 2-150pts.wt. of a 5-alkylidenenorbornene-2 (derivative) of formula II (R<1>-R<3> are H, etc.; n is 0 or 1) and (A3) 1-120pts.wt. of a compound having a polymerizable double bond and a hydroxyl group in one molecule with (B) one or more kinds of compounds selected from polyisocyanate, polybasic acid, etc. The equivalent ratio of the isocyanate group, etc., in the component to the hydroxyl group of A is 0.05-1.5. |
