<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability by subjecting an icon group, which is included in a hand-written pattern displayed on a display screen, to the processing based on the recognition result of a recognizing means. CONSTITUTION:A processing is designated on the display screen with an input pen 4a by the operator. For example, in case of erase of files D and E (icons 23 and 24), a simple geometrical graphic such as segments 200 and 201 is inputted by hand-writing. A hand-written pattern recognizing part 5 recognizes the inputted pattern as the erase processing in accordance with segments inputted with the input pen 4a and outputs the recognition result and position and size information of the pattern to a CPU 1. The CPU 1 receives these information and performs the processing to erase files D and E based on the recognition result from a magnetic disk device with respect to pertinent icons concerned.</p> |
