The volumetric counter is intended for liquids and its measuring chamber contains two hollow half-cylinders. Between the latter are an inlet and outlet aperture and two oval wheels on a shaft forming a moving partition. The two shafts (5,6) in the measuring chamber are each connected to a pulse generator (9-12) whose pulses are supplied to frequency meters. The outlet voltages of the latter are applied to a common summation amplifier. The amplifier output voltage is fed into an indicator instrument, which may be a display, a recording apparatus or an oscillograph. The pulse generators may be of optical, or of a magneto-inductive type. The counter may deliver large liquid volumes per unit of time the liquid flow passing through the measuring chamber without deflection.
