Cow's head fixing device at feed point - has hinged shanks open at top fitted to holding sections

The device is used for fixing to a cow's head at a feed point. It uses a hinged shank of a strap open at the top, whose top ends are fitted to holding sections which can be moved to and from each other. The top ends of the shanks (2,4) of the strap are fitted to arms (18,20) which are supported on the holding sections (22,24) so that they can pivot about vertical axes running between the shanks (2,4). The axes run coaxially in the line of symmetry of the strap.
