Package, made of thermoplastic foil, for use in packing prods. of the medical and sterilizing industry, consists of a deep drawn cup-shaped part with external flanges around the rim. This is joined by hot sealing or welding to a transparent cover foil. The aperture in the bottom of the deep drawn part is closed by a foil of paper, cellulose or plastic fibres, which is joined to the part along the rim by hot sealing or welding. The fibre foil which permits a sterilisation of the contents of the package thus does not impede the identification of the contacts which is important in emergencies. Its removal from the cover eliminates any recess where contaminants could collect. |
