PURPOSE:To obtain a vibration diaphragm that can display the original properties of graphite sufficiently by carrying out molding work by mixing thin-piece graphite in a matrix material which can be graphitized and by graphitizing it by a heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:Graphite pieces are mixed in a resin solution and this mixture 4 is flowed into meshes 3 in the shape of a diaphragm and dried as it is to obtain molding 5 in the diaphragm shape. In this molding 5, scalelike graphite 1 sticks with its main surface faced in the surface direction of meshes 3 depending upon the flowing direction of mixture 4 and the possibility that scalelike graphite 1 is oriented nearly in parallel to made-paper surface 6 of molding 5 increases. Next, molding 5 is heated at a high temperature in an oxygen free state. This heat treatment graphitizes the resin around graphite pieces 1 as seeds successively and molding 5 is completely graphitized to obtain a graphite-made diaphragm. |
