The frame profile (1) is connected to a glazing-bar profile (sash-bar profile) (2) by a T-connector, on which the glazing-bar profile (2) is fixed by means of a screw (3). The frame profile (1) and the glazing-bar profile (2) have undercut grooves (7, 8, 9) which run in their longitudinal direction and are provided in the edge region. In the region of the joint (10), the undercut groove (7) of the frame profile (1) forms a right angle with the undercut grooves (8, 9) of the glazing-bar profile (2). In order to align the outer surfaces of the profiles (1, 2) in the region of the joint (10) with each other until their surfaces are flush, tensioning elements (11) are provided which extend over the joint (10), run transversely with respect to the joint (10) and are fixed in the undercut grooves (7, 9). It is achieved in this way that the edge strips of the profiles (1, 2) bounding the joint (10) are aligned with respect to each other and the outer surfaces of the profiles are flush with each other in the region of the joint (10). <IMAGE>
