<p>A fluid-handling apparatus having a magnetic drive comprises a rotatable driven member (22) and a driven member (44) provided with blades (48) for imparting motion to a fluid and mounted on a stationary shaft (30) forming a one-piece unit with a thin diaphragm (28) positioned between said two members (22, 44) which comprise a plurality of a permanent magnets (42).
