摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a cutting nozzle by which adhesion of dross is reduced and only one of cut faces is of good quality, by forming the nozzle aperture face, which emits the energy beam and gas simultaneously, into the noncircle symmetrical for a line. CONSTITUTION:Cutting nozzle 13 having nozzle aperture face 14 is used to cut the material to be cut in air be electron beam 1 as follows; the cut line and the longitudinal symmetry axis of aperture face 14 are caused to agree with each other, and the symmetry axis center is deflected backward in cut advance direction 16 from the axis of beam 1 to position the maximum pressure point of auxiliary gas 7 surrounding beam 1 backward from the axis of beam 1. Since the lower part in cut advance direction 10 is deflected backward form the axis of beam 1 also, gas 7 can be supplied to the cut advance face efficiently. Consequently, dross 11 is more difficult to stuck to the reverse face of material 8 to improve the quality of cut faces in comparison with the conventional method where beam 1 and aperture face 14 of nozzle 13 are coaxial.
