<p>The cribbage board has a housing (12) with sequential displays (14,16) each containing two rows of thirty elements (18). The elements are LCD or LED devices arranged in conventional scoring tracks. Recesses (30,32) contain operator controls for the two players in the form of a respective keyboard with numerals 0 to 9, a clear button (36) and an advance button (44). An entry is made on the keyboard and is displayed on score indicators (38,40). When both players agree the indication is correct, the advance button is depressed to the add the score to the player's total and advance the illuminated element (18) along the appropriate track, as well as advancing the running total on the respective indicator (38,40). The running totals can only be advanced and may not be diminished whilst a game is in progress. An audible alarm alerts the players should any improper attempt be made to advance the running total.</p> |
