Claim for the contracting state AT A process for the production of 1-phenylthio-3-alkyl-amino-2-propanoles represented by the general formula I see diagramm : EP0025528,P10,F2 in which R1 is a straight chain or a branched C1 to C5 alkyl or cycloalkyl group, and its physiologically acceptable acid addition salts characterized in that, in a per se known manner, (a) an amine of the formula H2 N-R1 is reacted with an arylglycidsulfide represented by the general formula II see diagramm : EP0025528,P10,F3 or with a halogen hydrine represented by the general formula III see diagramm : EP0025528,P10,F4 wherein Hal is chlorine, bromine or iodine, or b) a thiophenole represented by the general formula IV see diagramm : EP0025528,P10,F5 is reacted with a compound of the formula X-CH2 -NH-R1 , wherein X represents the see diagramm : EP0025528,P11,F1 or Y-CH2 -CH(OH) group, wherein Y is a replaceable radical, or (c) a disulfide represented by the general formula V see diagramm : EP0025528,P11,F2 is under reducing conditions reacted with the partners indicated under (b), or (d) an amino derivative of the formula VI see diagramm : EP0025528,P11,F3 is allowed to react with an alkylhalogenide of the formula Hal-R1 , wherein R1 has the same meaning as in the general formula I. |
