PURPOSE:To simplify a television signal processing system by converting a carrier signal into the frequency signal of a clock signal by using the clock signal and then by generating another video signal by mixing this converted signal and a luminance signal together. CONSTITUTION:An output clock signal from AFC circuit 10 is supplied to the time base collector and then supplied to frequency converter 11. The 1st converted carrier from converter 11 is supplied to frequency converter 4 constituting a double heterodyne circuit. Chroma signal C supplied to circuit 4 is converted into a signal of fSC (subcarrier) +1/2fSC+fSC' in frequency by the 1st converted carrier and then converted into chroma signal C' of fSC by converted carrier S2 at circuit 13. Signal C' is supplied to and mixed into luminance signal Y by mixer 3 to generate a composite color video signal. This composite signal is supplied to A/D converter 14 of the time base collector. |
