PURPOSE:To eliminate the radio disturbance by absorbing the arc between the brush plate and the commutator piece and to extend the life of the subject brush by a method wherein the point sliding section of the brush plate is divided into the front sliding section and the rear sliding section, and an arc absorbing element such as a resistor and the like are provided between both sliding sections. CONSTITUTION:The point sliding section of a conductive brush plate 1 is divided into the front sliding section 2 and the rear sliding section 3, and an are absorbing element 4 consists of a resistor and the like are placed between both sliding sections. As a result, the front sliding section 2 comes in contact with a segment 6a when the sliding section of the brush 1 came to a point in vicinity of a slit 7 and in the case when the rear sliding section 3 comes in contact with the other segment 6b, an arc is absorbed by suppressing the surge voltage, thereby enabling to reduce the radio disturbance and the abrasion thereof. |
