PURPOSE:To reduce the higher harmonic distortion in the transmission of the video base band and others and at the same time realize a simultaneous transmission of both the additional signal and the video signal, by securing a multiplication between the additional signal of the aural signal or the like and the video signal after a real time process. CONSTITUTION:The color signals C1 and C2 supplied to the input terminals 2 and 3 receive a line sequential conversion via the changeover switch 4 and is then applied to the time axis compressing circuit 5. While the additional signal Sn supplied to the input terminal 8 is sampled through the sampling circuit 9 to obtain the PAM wave. At the same time, the luminance signal Y with synchronous signal is multiplied by the color signal receives a time compression by the color signal miltiplying circuit 6 and then multiplied by the PAM wave at the additional signal multiplying circuit 10. The control signal generating circuit 7 supplies the control signal produced based on the synchronous signal separated from the signal Y to the circuit line changeover switch 4, time axis compressing circuit 5, color signal multiplying circuit 6, sampling circuit 9 and additional signal multiplying circuit 10 each. At the reception side, the means which reproduces the color signal and the additional signal by the control signal produced with the common clock signal is installed, thus ensuring a simultaneous transmission of both additional signal and the video signal. |
