A flexible car engine mounting includes an anchor face (1) to which the engine is attached. The anchor (1) is mounted on a flexible membrane (11) which is attached to a fixing frame (13,15), on the car chassis (7). A second membrane (17) on the opposite side of the frame (13), locates a damper mass (3) at its centre. The space between the two flexible membranes (11,17) is pressurised by hydraulic or pneumatic means (19), in order to transmit some of the vibrations between the membranes.
