The present invention relates to 5-amino-naphtho-styryls having the general formula: wherein: R = H; R' = alkyl C1-C4, benzyl; R" = alkyl C1-C4; furthermore R' and R", together, may form with the nitrogen atom a piperidine ring; and a process for their preparation. Such products are of great interest in the field of the "fine chemicals" and mainly as intermediate components in the field of the dyestuffs and pharmaceutical product.
